Anyone can experience clinical depression, regardless of age, gender, race, creed or income. One of the most common myths about depression is that it is "normal" for certain people to feel depressed -- such as women, older people, employees with work-related stress, or people with chronic illness. The truth is clinical depression is never a normal part of life.
